Synopsis
Peter McGovern didn’t go looking for perspective. It found him – on a spring afternoon, in a sterile consulting room, in the form of three dreaded letters: MND. In What’s Luck Got to Do With It?, he reflects on what came next, bringing the same honesty, curiosity, and humour that shaped his forty-one-year career as a teacher and school leader across New South Wales. This is not a story about giving up, but about showing up, with family, faith and a healthy dose of stubbornness. Peter lives in Wollongong with his wife, Jacqui, and their three adult children.
